Iranians win 2 silver medals at FIDE world championships in Georgia

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian representatives won two silver medals at the FIDE 2022 World Cadet Chess Championships in Batumi, Georgia.

The FIDE U12 open and girls competitions ended while Sina Movahed and Maedeh Yousefian both ranked second at open and girls.

The International Chess Federation (FIDE) World Cadet Chess Championships kicked off in Georgia on September 17 for 11 days.
